Don't take our word for it.
Every PixelCopy installer is digitally signed by Mako Logics LLC. Windows checks that signature cryptographically before it lets the app install — and you can see the check yourself in about ten seconds, with nothing but the file you downloaded.
What the signature proves
- Who made it — the installer really comes from Mako Logics LLC, not an impersonator.
- Nothing was tampered with — if even one byte of the file were changed after we signed it, Windows would refuse to install it.
- No scary warnings — signed apps don't trigger the "unknown publisher" SmartScreen wall you get with unsigned downloads.

Download the installer
Grab it from pixelcopy.app/download — the file is named like
PixelCopy-1.0.8-x64.msix. Don't install it yet. - 2
Right-click it → Properties → Digital Signatures
In your Downloads folder, right-click the file and choose Properties, then open the Digital Signatures tab. You'll see Mako Logics LLC in the signature list. Select it, click Details, and Windows tells you plainly: "This digital signature is OK."
The certificate's full subject reads:
CN=Mako Logics LLC, O=Mako Logics LLC, L=Montgomery, S=Texas, C=US - 3
Install — Windows runs the same check
When you double-click the installer, the install window names Mako Logics LLC as the publisher — and the install only proceeds because the signature verified. A tampered or fake copy won't get that far: Windows blocks it with a signature error instead of an Install button.

PixelCopy passed Microsoft Store certification and is published on the Microsoft Store under Mako Logics LLC. Microsoft reviews every full-trust app before it lists — so the Store page is Microsoft itself vouching for the same signed app. Install it there and it updates through the Store like any other app.
So why does the direct download check happen on my PC, not a website?
For the signed .msix from this site, the check doesn't need a website — it happens on your PC. Every copy of Windows verifies the signature chain itself, offline, every time. That's stronger than any lookup page: even we couldn't fake it on your machine. Signing is done through Microsoft's Azure Trusted Signing service under Mako Logics LLC's verified business identity. The Microsoft Store listing above is a second, independent way to confirm the same thing.
